Chocolate Chess Pie

My friend requested a chocolate chess pie for her birthday dessert. I happily obliged, but had no clue how to make one. Well, Angus Barn has their recipe on line. Hand it to a fine steakhouse here in Raleigh to have an amazing dessert (maybe I’ll actually go there someday to try their chocolate chess pie or another one of their fabulous desserts).
Here you go:

1 unbaked pie crust
1 stick butter
2 squares Bakers Chocolate (semi-sweet)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash salt

Melt butter and chocolate, mix with other ingredients which have been blended together. Pour into pie crust and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with whipped cream.
